EduSport Foundation will be holding the 6th Go Sisters Annual National Tournament from 15th to 16th August 2009. The event will be held at National Sports Development Centre in Lusaka-Zambia
Teams that won in their Provincial tournaments will be participating. The theme for this year’s event is “Girls Arise for Leadership Equity through Sport”
202 participants will compete in this year’s festival where games like Volleyball, Basketball, Football and Netball will be competed in. 20 teams are coming from within Lusaka, 1 team from Choma, 2 teams from Livingstone and 1 team from Kazungula. Participants will have a chance to participate in Life skills training, educational movement games, drama, debates and discussions.The event will be graved by the Minister of Sport, Youth and Child Development, Honorable Kenneth Chipungu. Other invited guests include the British High Commissioner, the Director British Council and the Head of UK Sport International, who is based in the UK.
