EduSport’s very
own Lyson Zulu, currently studying at Loughborough University in
England won his first international cap for the Zambian National
Football Team last Wednesday in Chipolopolo’s 4-1 defeat against Ghana
in London.

Four girls from the EduSport Under 14’s football team were selected to
represent Team Zambia at this years Norway Cup which ran from the 18th
July to the 2nd of August. The event was held in the country’s capital
Oslo and has been running since 1972.

The Foundation has scaled up its community programmes to another province-Copperbelt Province. The Programme called CHATS (Combating HIV/AIDS Through Sport) is focused on sexual reporoductive health education, leadeship training and active participation in sport with emphasis on HIV/AIDs related issues.

EduSport foundation runs a program called go sisters ! This is a girls empowerment through sport programme. EduSport foundation runs a program called go sisters ! Under this programme the foundation runs sports festivals, workshops, youth camps and girls are sponsored educationally. En route to this years Go Sisters! tournament that is held annually for girls from all over the country, EduSport has organized a number of workshops to prepare the girls for this event. |

With the introduction of the CHATS programme in southern province in 2007
EduSport has further introduced the programme in two towns on the copperbelt province. namely
Mufulira and Chingola. this is under the Norweagian Olympics and Paralympic Federation funded programme Combating HIV AIDS Through Sports C.H.A.T.S. project which is aimed at combating AIDS by empowering the youths with life and sports skills in order for them to become less suseptible to the vises that lead to youths unknowingly contracting the disease.
