This is an EduSport Initiative that aims to raise awareness on issues related to Environmental Conservation. The programme uses Sport to educate young people and communities on how to protect nature the environment and ultimately encourage communties to plant tress, clear garbage, and guard their sarroundings.

The project is about to be launched in two districts of Zambia and we hope to partner with experts in the field.

In the year 1999 the first EduSport girls team was formed. This team participated in many local and international tournaments. The team that was called “Kabwata Dream team” reaped gold from the Norway cup in 1999 and 2000.

This is a program that aims at using sport to address the problem of HIV/AIDS. HIV/AIDS has become Zambia's waste tragedy. Innovative methods from sport such as movement games, focus group discussion, leagues, tournaments and peer coaching are used to confront HIV&AIDS and other related problems.

Peer coaching.

This is an extension of Peer education into sport. Peer education, has been used in many areas of public health, including nutrition education, family planning, substance abuse and violence prevention.

This is a girl’s empowerment through sport program that  aims at empowering girls by training and equipping  them with skills and knowledge to pursue equality. It strives to empower girls by building physical resources, giving social recognition and challenging some traditional gender myths.

Our Community Schools Initiative

 

At  EduSport Foundation we believe that the greatest tool for empowerment is education. However, due to the crushing economic burden this country finds itself under, it is obvious that the government alone cannot be tasked with the fulfillment of this responsibility to educate the nation's children.
